1. slang To show interest in or approval of someone or something in an app. The phrase was popularized by the dating app Tinder, in which users "swipe right" on the screen to indicate interest in a potential mate. That girl is gorgeous, I'm definitely swiping right. Ooh, this guy's funny—swipe right! I keep swiping right because these dresses are all gorgeous.
2. slang By extension, to accept, agree with, or show enthusiasm for something. A night out instead of studying? I'm swiping right on that.
