TBF

An initialism of "to be fair," used in text messages and online communications to mean in justification or defense (of someone or something). A: "I can't believe he would say something so insensitive!" B: "TBF I don't think he knew that you and Tom are related." A: "Everyone on this forum recommended these speakers, but I'm really disappointed with them!" B: "They're a good brand, TBF. Seems like they just weren't right for your setup."
