1. Time that is spent dealing with something or interacting with someone. I really don't have time for these kinds of errors today, guys! My dad is busy, but he always makes time for me and my brother.
2. The time at which something is scheduled, due, or ready to begin. Time for lunch. Where do you want to eat today? Right, everyone put your notebooks away—it's time for a pop quiz! After 15 years in this company, I think it's about time for a change.
