1. Up into the air and away in flight. Sorry for the delay, folks. We're just waiting for air traffic control to give us clearance for takeoff, then we'll be up and away. The child only let go of her balloon for a split second, but it was already up and away into the sky.
2. By extension, experiencing continued or growing success. The stock market has been up and away following news of the new trade agreements. If we could just get a little bit of funding to get started, we'd be up and away with our product in no time!
