take (someone) as (one) finds them

To accept someone as they are or appear, without judging them for their faults or quirks. The company has always rejected the notion that it needed to conform to a certain standard, instead demanding that consumers and investors alike take them as they find them. I'm too old to worry about how I look or act. If someone wants to be with me romantically, they'll have to take me as they find me.
