(Someone or something) called, they want their (something) back!

Used to disparage something that someone says, does, wears, possesses, etc., as being more appropriate for some other person, group, time period, etc. Nice bell bottoms, doofus. The '60s called, they want their fashion choices back! A: "I just think certain groups of people shouldn't be allowed to move in to this neighborhood." B: "Wow, Uncle Fred, the 1950s called, they want their racist bigotry back."
