SLAGIATT

SLAGIATT

An initialism of "seemed like a good idea at the time," a phrase used to show one's regret over past actions. A: "D'oh! I was trying to bypass some security settings on my PC and I ended up wrecking the registry!" B: "Why on earth were you screwing around with the registry to do that?" A: "SLAGIATT!" I'm sure the governor thought it SLAGIATT, but after landing himself in jail, I'm willing to bet he regrets taking those bribes now!
