To remove something attached or adhered to the surface of something else by soaking it in some liquid. A noun or pronoun can be used between "soak" and "off." I have a big interview tomorrow, so I need to soak off these rainbow-colored acrylic nails. I used a special acetone solution to soak these labels off.
