1. Exactly at the time required or agreed upon. A: "Hi everyone, am I late?" B: "Nope, you're right on time." I always try to make sure I'm right on time for meetings.
2. Right when someone or something is most needed, suitable, or expected. I was starting to have a panic attack at the party. Thankfully, my friend showed up right on time to take me aside and help me calm down. A: "Look, here are those stray cats again looking for a hand out." B: "Right on time. They always show up when I'm cooking dinner."
