1. Of a liquid, to stream or flow quickly along some place or thing in a great volume. Water being sprayed by the riot police mixed with the blood of assaulted protesters as it poured along the gutters of the street. Rainwater poured along the series of chutes that funneled into various collection tanks.
2. Of people, to throng and move quickly along some place or thing. Shoppers poured through the mall's during the two days of extraordinary sales. Every day, tens of thousands of people pour along Main Street as they shop, eat, and make their way to and from work.
