put trust in (someone or something)
To believe in, have faith in, or depend on someone or something. A possessive pronoun can be used between "put" and "trust." A majority of citizens have responded to our poll that they no longer put trust in the government's ability to manage the national debt. We're all putting our trust in you to resolve this problem as efficiently as possible.
