A very limited availability or selection of choices in a given group or range of things. I couldn't get to the store for their sale until late in the day, and by the time I arrived there was nothing to choose from. I just felt like there was nothing to choose from on the menu. You could either get one kind of curry or another, and that was about all they offered.
