colloquial Used as a way of getting someone's attention so that one can ask them something. Primarily heard in Ireland. Come here, what's this I've been hearing about you and Mark getting together? A: "Hey, Mark, how was your weekend?" B: "Hey, Brian, not bad. Come here to me, do you know about this new operating system they're making us use?"
