Unacceptable, objectionable, or inappropriate; unreasonable, immoderate, or exorbitant. Primarily heard in Australia, Canada. I found her use of vulgar language in the poem to be completely over the fence. Your proposals are way over the fence—there's no way we would be able to afford it!
