1. To nod in agreement while reading, watching, or listening to something. I nodded through the whole book, finding that just about every page was relevant to my own situation.
2. To cast a vote from the grounds of Parliament without being physically in the parliamentary lobby. In this usage, a noun or pronoun can be used between "nod" and "through." The Labour MP was driven to the parliamentary estate by ambulance so that he could nod through his vote.
3. To cast a vote in favor of some proposed legislation or resolution, especially without due debate or consideration. In this usage, a noun or pronoun can be used between "nod" and "through." These members of Congress seem content to nod any legislation through that follows their party lines, without any consideration for what effect it will have on their own constituents.
