peal out

To sing, chime, or otherwise make noise in a loud, clear, and vibrant manner. My heart felt full to bursting as I watched our wedding guests take their seats with the sun shining and the church bells pealing out. It took a moment for the audience to understand the joke, and then a chorus of laughter pealed out and filled the room.
