1. Crazy or irrational. He's out of his senses if he thinks this plan is going to work! After yet another sleepless night, I'm starting to feel like I'm out of my senses.
2. Not fully conscious or coherent in thought. I always feel out of my senses whenever I take these painkillers the doctor prescribed. He drank so many shots of tequila that he was completely out of his senses by the end of the night.
