1. noun An exotic dance in which the dancer, typically a woman, straddles or rubs against the customer's lap. John's friends took him to a strip club and bought him a private lap dance for his birthday.
2. verb To dance exotically while straddling and rubbing against a customer's lap. I'm afraid to tell my parents that I've been lap dancing to pay my way through college.
