kiss the/(one's) tears away
To comfort one and help them to stop crying by giving them kisses. A: "Mommy! I scraped my knee! Ouchy, ouchy, ouchy!" B: "Oh, my poor dear! Come here and let me kiss those tears away." I just wanted to wrap her up in my arms and kiss her tears away.
