lift-up

lift-up

slang The euphoria or altered mental state achieved with the use of narcotics. Heroin addicts can end up spending their entire lives looking for the same kind of lift-up they get on their first hit. Honestly, I prefer the lift-up from MDMA to that of cocaine.
