Precisely that which one prefers, desires, enjoys, or cares about. I've never enjoyed boring intellectual dramas, but a gore-filled monster movie? Now that's just my cup of tea. It sounds pretty boring to me, but postmodern literature is just Mary's cup of tea, so I bet she'd be interested in going with you.
