A person or thing that is the very best or most exemplary of its kind; someone or something that is extremely rare or almost impossible to replicate. Most commonly used in the phrase "one in a million." The field goal, made from 69 yards away, was a kick in a million, and it delivered one of the most thrilling last-minute victories in football history. My mother was a woman in a million, building a business empire from the ground up while simultaneously raising two kids on her own.
