glam up

1. To become more beautiful in a glamorous or ostentatious manner. We should get to the hotel a few hours early so we have time to glam up before the party.
2. To make someone, something, or oneself more glamorous or visually alluring. In this usage, a noun or pronoun can be used between "glam" and "up." She always spends so much time glamming herself up each morning. I wanted to glam up the dress with some sequins and fancy stitching. We hired a beautician to glam us up for prom.
