gedunk

1. A place where snacks are available for purchase on a ship or similar vessel of the US Navy or Coast Guard. Also called a "gedunk bar." I'm heading to the gedunk—you guys want anything? Oh, it's just some chips from the gedunk, nothing exciting.
2. By extension, a nickname for snack foods, such as ice cream, potato chips, and candy, that would be available for purchase at a gedunk bar. Got any gedunk we can snack on tonight?
