frag

slang To kill a fellow soldier, often a superior, with a grenade or other explosive device. The word is a shortening of "fragmentation grenade," referring to a type of grenade that expels shrapnel over a large area. Someone's going to frag that guy if he keeps treating his men so poorly. A: "He's dead?" B: "Yeah, I heard he got fragged."
