God's gift to (something)

A person who embodies the highest level of achievement in a particular area (which is stated after "to"). Almost exclusively used ironically or derisively. You walk around like you're God's gift to women, but when's the last time you actually had a date? He may think that he's God's gift to painting, but critics have found his work to be very derivative.
