A phrase used to acknowledge that one is in or could potentially be in trouble. A: "You'll have to go down into the basement to reset the breakers." B: "...which is full of spiders. God help me." Well, God help you if Mom finds out that you're the one who broke her vase. God help us if she becomes our new boss.
