doodied up

old-fashioned slang Dressed, adorned, or decorated in a very stylish, fancy, or ostentatious way. I usually dress very simply, but I do enjoy getting doodied up for a special occasion now and then. She was wearing a stunning red dress, and her hair was all doodied up like a movie star's.
