Used to scold or chastise someone for saying a particular word or phrase when addressing one. A: "Honey, I—" B: "No, don't 'honey' me, Frank! I'm so mad at you I could scream!" A: "There, there, Tom." B: "Don't 'there, there' me. I don't want your pity!"
