A humorous phrase used to express that one does not have enough knowledge of or experience with the issue being discussed to answer the question. Often used outside of the context of literal employment. A: "Why on earth is the company's internal network set up like this?" B: "Don't ask me, man, I just work here." A: "Honey, how do I change the WiFi settings on the TV?" B: "I don't know, I just work here."
