back in the game
back in the game
Resuming something after an absence. Although this phrase uses the word "game," it does not have to refer to sports. Our best defenseman was out with an injury for a few months, but he's finally back in the game. I needed to take a break for a bit, but now, I'm back in the game. I hope to spend some time with Matt now that he's single again and back in the game.
