find (someone or something) a little off

find (someone or something) a little off

To deem or consider someone or something to be somewhat strange, irregular, atypical, or eccentric. I found Jim a little off when I first met him, but he turned out to be a really a nice guy once I got to know him. The gameplay is great, but I find the graphics on the characters' faces a little off.
