BYOW

1. slang An initialism of "bring your own wine." Typically used of a place or event that does not serve wine but permits patrons to bring it with them. The restaurant is BYOW, so I’ll stop and pick up a bottle on my way there.

2. slang By extension, an initialism of "bring your own weed" (meaning marijuana). After the recent legalization of recreational marijuana, a number of BYOW bars and restaurants began cropping up all over the state.
