1. To engage in conversation with someone due to romantic or sexual interest; to flirt with someone. Primarily heard in Australia. Janet went over and started cracking onto some blonde surfer boy after having a couple of margaritas at the bar I don't even remember cracking onto anyone last night.
2. To come upon or discover something, especially that which is surprisingly pleasant, satisfying, or exciting. I finally cracked onto a workout routine that achieves exactly what I'm looking for. I think we might have cracked onto a potential cure.
