The company enjoyed huge success in the '90s, but a series of snap decisions backfired on them, leading them to the brink of bankruptcy. The officer made the snap decision to take the unresponsive child into his patrol car and rush her to the hospital himself.

In combat sports, especially boxing, a decision of who won the match that was not reached unanimously. The boxing match ended in a split decision, with one of the judges scoring the newcomer as the winner.
