a bag-of-spanners face

a bag-of-spanners face

slang A very unattractive face, usually because it is hardened or weathered with age. A "spanner" is a British term for a wrench. Primarily heard in UK. I'm scared of her, honestly. Got a bag-of-spanners face, that one.
