An initialism for "Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response," referring to a pleasant, tingling-like sensation that some people feel upon experiencing certain sensory stimuli, such as whispering or tapping. ASMR videos are so relaxing to me that I watch them any time I have insomnia. Oh man, I feel so sleepy right now—that guy's soft-spoken voice was totally giving me ASMR vibes.
