slang An initialism of "do your own dirty work," used to upbraid someone for trying to force someone else to do something on their behalf. Usually used in online communications, such as forums, social media, instant messaging, etc. A: "Oh yeah? Well show me the charts that prove what you're saying!" B: "I'm not doing diddly-squat—I know I'm right. DYODW, jerk." They want us to rat out our colleagues who aren't following these ridiculous guidelines? DYODW, you incompetent schmucks.
