A plan, project, development, or course of action that appears to have or offer no meaningful, desirable, or useful conclusion. After three years of on-again, off-again development, critics of the massive hotel say it has become a road to nowhere. The blame game going on between our two parties is a road to nowhere—instead of fighting, we need to be working together to find solutions.
